I watched you dance,
I watched you sing.
Your laughter seeps into my thoughts,
As I wonder why I wished your love away.
I look at our polaroid picture,
Memories are frozen in my very hands.
I long for your touch,
As the tears escape from my drained eyes.
I toss and I turn,
Praying that maybe I could just go to sleep.
I struggle to prevent the thought of your smile,
As the feeling of lost love fill every essence of desire.
I imagine the way we could be,
We could be together staring at the stars at night.
I smile as I watch it playing it my mind,
As I surrender to the fight of forgetting you.
